The Beginners Workout Plan

Knowing exactly where to put your efforts means that you’ll get the most out of your workouts. Making your time at the gym more effective and efficient. This is where many exercise newcomers go wrong. They aren’t sure what to do and end up using their time ineffectively.

What's MOVE

MOVE is a beginner’s workout plan designed for women. It’s expertly structured to help build your exercise knowledge and foundational strength. Think of it as strength training 101 where you’ll learn the most important exercises in a way that keeps things simple. 

All workouts come with detailed video exercise instruction so that you can watch and learn as you go. Don’t forget, with LYB, if an exercise isn’t working for you - you’ve got options girl.

Every exercise has its own dedicated page, giving you full verbal and written instructions, and exercise substitutions so that you can customize your workouts to suit your personal needs.

Learning how to adapt your programs to fit YOU, is an important part of exercise sustainability.

Equipment Needed

Your main form of equipment for MOVE will be dumbbells. While having a gym membership is ideal, it's not required. 

If you choose to exercise at home, simply invest in a few pairs of dumbbells to start. 

For every workout with Love Your Bod, we have a Home variation that requires less equipment, making all our programs adaptable to exercising from home. 

Other equipment we recommend would be a resistance band, a stability ball, and a loop band however if you don’t have it, remember – we have exercise substitutions for a reason.

What You'll Learn

You’ll learn to master 9 different kickass workouts over the course of 12-weeks while slaying your goals along the way. 

No need to think about what to do at your next workout, simply refer to the MOVE calendar which will tell you exactly what to do and when to do it. 

Each week your goal is to complete 3 full-body strength workouts + 2 core specific workouts

On your rest days in between, we suggest going for some Feel Good Walks to give yourself a mental health a boost with some feel-good endorphins.
